I finally dug up my pictures of the SVT hooked to a hitch with a UHaul trailer behind it.
This was in 1999 or 2000, and I obviously have my winter wheels and tires on (15x6.5). Tires are 205/60HR15 and you can see how little the rear suspension sagged. The UHaul trailer was full of furniture and books.
I know, it's not ideal, but it can be done!
The photos suck a bit, because I took digital photos of 4x6 prints.

So true. I did a 5-60 rolling start with the trailer loaded and beat a Protege who wanted my lane before his ended. Heh.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see the expression on his face, because the trailer sort of impeded my rear view...

its an unusual site there for sure, and it makes me recall a few years back when i was hanging out at the local boatyard where i used to launch my boat. i saw a yellow corvette pulling a yellow boat, and that vette dunked half its rear end in the water as it launched the boat... GET A TRUCK FOR THAT STUFF lol.

Nope, there are a few other members that have hitches and haul. Its pretty cool actually, not that I have anything to tow.

Wouldn't that look nice behind an SVT......either a wave runner, banshee or a bullet bike on the trailer  Makes me want to get a Lightning for my "work truck"
