Does anyone make headlight or tailight blackout covers. Could you put tinting film and cut it around the lights and adhere it, would that work? this probably sounds stupid but please dont be an a-hole.

GTS makes headlight covers, but to my knowledge they don't for the tails. I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for as far as something that goes around the lights, but if you do get the clear ones it comes w/ a bunch of oval decals for you to paint around them. Hope that helped.

there are 2 or 3 companies manufacturing headlight covers, both in clear and smoke. Please search on the Aesthetics forum, I posted the details some time ago.

I saw someone do this. They had a black tour, cant remember the year. and they put tint type film on the back lights, cutting a design in. The only problem is that the film wasn't dark enough, so when the brakes were used, the light shined through the film. If you can get vinyl film thick enough you could do it, or maybe just paint the lights. Mark off where you want the circles or whatever and do it.
Ohh I just remembered that somewhere on the new forums, someone did something to their tour that made the back lights a bar. I'll search for it and post it when i find it.

Yeah there's not a single taillight cover made for the 'tour but if you want to paint em up to look different I saw these kits at Autozone a few weeks ago that had sticker template designs that you stick on your lights then paint the whole light cover...remove the stickers after the paint dries and you got different headlights. Doesn't look to me like something you really need to buy though you could do it yourself.

Someone does make headlight covers. they come in different colors, like clear, white, smoke etc... I think its on the spmotorsports website. What you can do is search for headlight covers, get the clear ones and paint them.

also I know of people who spray tint their rear lights... it looks sweet if you do it right.

Agree. IMHO, spraying looks much nicer. The covers per se look kinda unbelonging....
