Well...here I go again...venting on here. Sorry yall. My pit bull puppy Jax, was 4 1/2 months old, and he caught a horible case of hookworm, plus we found out he had a gastrointestinal disease. He was severly dehydrated and anemic. Sad thing was, he was ok wednesday, gone on friday. I cried all day long.He was my little girls puppy. Im kinda glad they dont understand that hes dead, even though i tried to tell my 4 year old. She was just lookin at me like i was nuts, cryin and tellin her the doggy was gone for good. But my brothers dog Roxy just had puppies on Tuesday, so we are gonna get another puppy for the kids. I was raised with animals all around, and i loved it. They should have that too..ya know?

sorry to hear that. my older dog had parvo as a puppy and barely survived. sorta sucked because we couldn't play with him much. now he has a bad hip and doggy arthritis. my mom wants to put him down, but I can't bring myself to say OK to it. I mean he still can walk, he still is my dog, and I'm sure he doesn't want to die. sorta weird how we get so attached to animals. it is definitely good for kids to get to interact with animals, I think it's one of those things that can help build their character, especially if they help care for the dog, walk it, etc.
