If I had been in NYC, I definitely would have bought the bootleg versus going to the theater. Oh well.

i put this movie on par with ramming a shotgun up my rump, pulling the trigger, then pouring tobasco on the remnants.... worst movie of the year.

then again, all comic book movies suck, x-men is exempt however. Comic book movies always try to smash months or years of comic book evolution into two hours, they inevitably cut out something that the intelligent viewers need for the movie to, god forbid, MAKE SENSE. X-men is exempt because they're doing multiple movies to complete the story... like comic books use multiple issues.. DUH.

i FREAKIN hated the hulk... i'm bitter bout my wasted money, i want a f***ing refund.

IIRC, the original comic hulk was either 15 or 25' tall and weighed in the vicinity of 3k lbs.

Ferrigno was no where near 6'10".

Tsk tsk, you can't post that here. You have to start an entierly new thread, and then act like you're the most original person in the world for coming up with such a great thread idea.

The Hulk looks pretty good, I'll have to drag my wife to see it with me.

yeah i just saw 2F2F couple nights ago...the girl that I went with actually wanted to see it...she's a keeper

When was the last time you picked up a comic? Was it from the "Big Two?" If Marvel, was it the Max line, if DC was it any of their darker titles?

Trust me, comics ain't what they used to be. If you're the kind of person that hates the preachy cartoony crap, please, go pick up a few copies of 100 Bullets, Powers, Preacher, even the recent revamp of Punisher. Guaranteed at least some of your bias will change. Not saying you don't have your reasons (trust me, there are a LOT of books that suck bawls), I just enjoy giving people alternative books.

As I think about it, the movie was lacking one thing... a climax. All of the fights seemed to have the same lack of a sense of urgency or necessity, including the final battle with the military. There was no major climactic battle between good and evil. Yeah, there was the father/son thing, but, it was the most useless part of the movie!! Ang Lee managed to end the movie just like Crouching Tiger... it just... ended!!!
