Well so much for the "ford" exclaimed 100,000 mile life span on thier plugs.... I replaced them last night and pre-gapped the new ones at 52 to give me some grow out insurance. So glad I did....
The plugs that came out of the car were so worn out that the gapping was .90

What could have caused this??
My buddy who is a mechanic almost crapped his drawers.... The plugs were dry so that was a good sign.. But OMG If I would have NOT changed them at 60,000 miles They probably would NOT have been there at 100,000 miles..
Car idles and seems to run SOOO much smoother now!!
Figured I'd share this with you....
