Well, if you can convince your warranty company that the diff going was not due to abuse, they would probably pay the cost of the stock diff and the install labor, with you picking up the difference. The Quaife is $595 FWIW. Your diff is definitely FUBAR from what I can tell.
I'll tell you what, as far as your time - that's pretty d@mn amazing, so don't be surprised at people calling BS on it. Especially since you have an intake and removed resonator as your only listed mods (I don't count the +4's as a performance mod).

Now your trap speed suddenly changed. (changing your story already)
Also unless the track is built downhill what you posted is BS compared to all the other incremental times of other SVT's. How come your 1/8 mile trap speed is so low compared to your ET. Then you 1/4 mile trap speed is so high compared to the ET. That does not make any possible sense. You made over 21mph between those 2 points. S/C SVT's only make 20-21MPH and they only hook up just before half track. (they make 270 at the wheels too!)
Plus running that fast with another 200lbs in the car to boot... We all know what 200lbs does to the feel of these cars! Hell you could have had a 14.4 at 100+ with your buddy out of the car.
All this with no real mods (tiny air filter (1/3 the size of the stock's filtering area) & maybe 2HP from ditching the res)
Major BS flags everywhere. The numbers don't "jive" anywhere in your story.

Consider the other best time of a basically stock SVT was 14.72 (the one on modularv8.com), I don't think it's too much of a BS.

The guy says he has the time slip and ID card to prove it...why is everyone giving him a hard time? Seems to me everyones more pissed that his stock car beat your car with mods. Someone was asking for a bs flag: But in defense if TommyBoy:

No passenger. Sea level track, perfect weather. This guy beat it with less mods and a passenger and had a 2 tenth slower 60' (which equals a good 3 tenths on the top end!) Weather & altitude unknown... Just the sub box (~120lbs IIRC) in PhatSVT's car made a 3 tenth difference (14.5 to 14.2) in his ET's & 2 mph (98 to 100) and he is supercharged! Think about it. Nothing adds up. Maybe he lives by PA3L and we can get a witness of him running sans passenger. Certainly be the fastest SVT to date! Plus it's stock to boot! Definitely put this to rest...

Man, you guys are harsh...he said he'd provide the evidence. He's here to solve a problem not get abused by you guys. A Quaife as PAL3 mentioned is going for around $595 but check the group buy section as there is some activity there regarding the Quaife. I'm almost certain that it's the spider gears in the diff. They are known to shatter at the track. I saw FluidSVT do it at Bandimere last year- his car only rolled forward about a foot and that was it. Engine spins, no movement. Extended warranty covered the repair (he got a new tranny!)but it was a bit of a wait. He had the car towed to the local Conoco before calling the warranty company Good luck with the repair. If you're going to the track with any regularity a Quaife is must do IMHO... Alex in Boulder, CO 95SE MTX Fast...soon to be faster 84 Jetta GLI Rice Burner
