Did anyone paint their brake calipers? What paint?

I used the spray can of brake caliper paint you can buy at any auto parts store...

Do you have stock brake calipers?

Yeppers, those are my stock SE brake calipers.

Did you take them off of the car to paint or did you mask the rotors and everything else and paint them while they were on the car?

I got lucky. I had to change my pads and rotors when I was own in TN. So I pretty much just sprayed them with all the old equiptment on

A lot of people just spray the paint into the lid of the can and brush it on.

I used High-Temp Caliper paint on mine. I sprayed it onto a large plastic lid then brushed it on.

My only complaint is that it's not as glossy as I would like. A decent coat of primer would probably have helped. I've thought about clearcoat, but I don't know if it would take the heat.

There is high temp engine clear coat. Hector let me use some to paint my drums.

duplicolor caliper paint

I used the FoliTec caliper paint - in blue. It is pretty glossy and comes with an epoxy hardener that dries rock hard. Looks good and lasts. I've had it on through 2 summers and 2 Canadian winters.
