Nice to know that the police are protecting us from such lawbreakers as 6 year old lemonade vendors.

What I want to know is, what was so bad about her stand that a neighbor complaind. Probably some old biddy with too much time on her hands.

Unfortunately, the cops didn't have a choice in the matter.

The prick who called the city is to blame.

I find it funny, and the cities response by giving them a summer's worth of permits for free is awesome!

How about the cop feeling so bad he bought a glass.

Some people, I swear. May they rot in hell where they desperately want a glass of lemonaide and yet can never seem to find a child selling it!

I bet it was a crabby old lady. When I was younger, my family lived in an apartment complex and we had my uncle/aunt and cousins from Tucson visiting. We all went to the complex park to play. The "complex crab" came over and yelled at my uncle that he wasn't a resident and if he didn't leave she'd call the manager. My uncle explained that he was visiting my dad but she didn't want to hear it. I told him not to worry. She was the local crab and was always threatening to call the manager on kids and adults she felt "didn't belong." Its been 15 years since we moved and AFAIK she's still there being a crab.

I really, really hope some flaming bags of dog crap appear on the neighbor's porch

Nice move by the city, though. I think the mayor should show up to buy some lemonade, TV crews in tow. Priceless PR, and a big F.U. for that neighbor.

""Shaw said Avigayil will no longer charge 50 cents for a glass of lemonade. ""

thats why the neighbor complained, 50 cents for a little cup of sugar water. Thats rediculous, i had a kool aid stand like 15 years ago and i sold a cup of koolaid for like 10 cents. whats this 50cents bull sh!t, do they charge sales tax too?!?!?!?

"RANT ON" for real though they should take all those people that complain about stuff like that and put them on a little island and nuke it. Its azz clowns like that that give our country a bad name. "RANT OFF"

poor kids, prob. scared the crap out of them when the cops came.

The one good thing that'll come of this is that, with the publicity and sympathy, this kid's gonna rake in some nice money.

Some people are like that. Not happy unless they're miserable. Not happy unless everybody around them is as miserable as they are.

Miserable A$$ wipe neighbor.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
