omg, first the snapped spring, now this! Where oh where am I going to get the money for suspension AND transmission repairs.....

If I have to fix this tranny, I want to fix it for good, even if it costs a few extra bucks. Would you suggest an overhaul on this thing? I know nothing about tranny's, but if the 3rd gear synchros are worn, most of the rest of the tranny is probably worn too... ideas/suggestions?
