I am going to look into the bent/ pin issue today. I have already tried going back to the stock MAF with the stock injectors and all.. and with all of it to no eval.. still has the same problem. The car is running really lean right now.. which is causing the missfire according to what I've read and according to the FS manual... However, the only way I know of to get rid of that condition is to install the MIL's short of as you had mentioned an aftermarket fuel computer.. which might end up being the road I take.
