Just installed fresh plugs, autolight 764's. Gaped to .48 running stock ignition with stock wires. Still having the same issue. Down low the car will missfire.. up high it is fine. Seems to be missfireing because of a rich condition with the car as the plugs still like to foul (Black Carbon) unless I am heavy on the gas over 4k at all times. Found something odd today though. I was looking into the fuel system as a possibility. The car is running around 44psi.. so I know that is ok... BUT when the car is shut back off it drops pressure almost instantly.. and according to the factory service manual it should hold it within 5psi for a minute or so. However, I don't know what would cause the drop.. Time for a new pump? .. New Regulator? Or is it really normal for this.
