I was recently quoted about $350.00 (U.S.) from an independent garage, using the motorcraft complete pump. They told me none were available with the metal impeller. I decided to do it myself, and spent about $100.00 in parts (pump, gasket, thermostat, pump belt, serpentine belt), and spent about 1-1/2 hours, mostly spent cleaning old gasket off mating surface. Also changed fuel filter at same time. Very little mess.
