had the same problem with mine and i took it a part and the gears are plastic. i think if i remember right it was the driving gear that striped. i have a question if they knew thats how much it took to open and close the moon roof why. make it plastic...totally stupid i think. i dont think they have replacement parts for the motor. or do they i kinda gave up on it. spend 100.00 or so moon roof or performance parts or lookie goods.
