Sad thing Robina..they did that to me, only the guy broke the part (it was the recalled resister under the glovebox that was expired 99M06). They wanted to charge me $25 to diagnose (half the rate because, well, he was going to cut me a break), $45 for parts and $83 for twenty minutes of labor (that's how long my mechanic took). I called my mechanic, told him what they said, he said get the part and bring the car to him. Total freakin' rip-off. Needless to say, I left immediately. Originally, I brought the car in to have the fan fuse replaced and instead they want to charge me to because they discovered what they claimed was a broken resistor. Funny thing, in New Orleans, I would notice if my AC wasn't working right. Ya know.
