A couple of things. The hole under the seat is too small for the returnless systems. You either have to drop the tank, or carefully, and I maea ncarefully (I cut a fuel line) make the hole bigger.
As far as the Bat pump. You will find what they sent you inside the pump assembly once you remove it and take it apart. Unfortunately it will not solve your problem. You need to remove the circular filter on the pump sump assembly. There is still a sock type filter on the pump inlet to protect the pump.
