I plan on going with 225's next for my 17's. Btramm from Houston runs 225/50 16 Kumho MX on his stock E0 wheels with no rubbing issues and praised them.

Same here. I just installed a set of SZ50 EP on the stock wheels (225/50/16) and I am very satisfied. From the aesthetic, ride comfort and NOISE points of view, these tires are way above the OEM BFG g-force. Performance wise, I can't notice any difference. There MAY be a slight difference in favor of the BFG if you push the car to the extreme limits. But I've never been there ... and will never go!

what would be the tire size to get for 17"s if u want 225 width? would it be 225/40/17? or would 225/45 fit? i'd rather have a little more sidewall than 215/45. but wouldn't want it to rub.
