It is reusable but I think I left mine inside the engine... maybe I can fish it out if I ever get around to messing with my static timing. Maybe in 2005 or so.

You need a little screw-in brass post for the spring to hook onto, as well as the spring itself. Something like $10 for the spring and another $10 for the post.
