I was actually thinking of taking off the cap today and check to see if there is a lot of deflection when the car is running. If i do use a spacer of some sort how thick should it be and do i need to worry about there being any gaps afterwards. I guess i am not really sure of where the spacers need to go and i don't like the idea of any gaps letting crud in there. Thanks for the info because every dollar saved on repairs can go to mods
