Yeah, my Duratec is leaking from the same spot. It's right near the corner of the timing cover where the oilpan meets the front cover (front cover must come off too, in addition to oilpan). I get that burnt smell onto the exhaust as well. I'm planning to fix it soon, along with a whole string of other fixes I will do at the same time as the motor is out (clutch, tranny rebuild, engine bearings, timing chain guides, chain tensioner updates, and new gaskets/ resealing for the whole motor). So I'm not too worried about the smell for right now. When I get all the money gathered up for my project, I will start pulling my engine/tranny right away
