Dunno what causes this. Doesn't happen when the air is hot but not humid.
Don't think it has anything to do with engine overload, but it never happened below 80mph.
Do you have something similar ?
Tivi had something like this on my 87 taurusaurus...would shoot (coolant-smelling) vapor during same conditions...when it was dry and hot no problem...at nite or in cold morning or foggy type conditions it would happen...finally it got bad i couldn't drive the car w/o having to constantly wipe off the windshield....the diagnosis was a worn out heater core
