is it possible and how much on average to install a sunroof in a contour with out one and i have the dome light in the ceiling ?

i'm not exactly a genius when it comes to this but i figure at least around 1,000+. you would have to buy the unit iself, cut a hole in your roof, and labor,labor,labor. unless you do it yourself....but still, i have one and i don't think it makes that much of a difference. it's cool to have one, but the contour sunroofs have been known to be a little tempermental. mine works on and off and now the gears are off again. it is a common problem, just more stuff to wory about. that's just me though.

If you're talking about any aftermarket sunroof, it shouldn't cost more than a couple of hundred bucks.
If you want a factory sunroof, I don't know how much but why spend a ton of money on a factory sunroof when you can go aftermarket cheaper?

I'd expect to pay around $300...if you want a motorized one thats where it would get expensive.

just look on yahoo or something, I'm sure a lotta companies have sites and price quotes on sunroofs

back in 200 we were gonna install a sunroof when we bought my sisters old 2000 contour. It was gonna be about 1200 with all ford parts, and installed by ford.

looks like i was on the ball, damn im good...j/k. i would prefer to spend my 1,000 on something else though...maybe 1/3 of a suuuuuuuppercharger!!!!
