Yes, but very little... I've still got to post pics of the one I cut up...

Well, it started out as a camera problem, but now it's just a motivational problem since I'm sending the cams off to a real machinist (read "custom intake" post in the Duratec forum). Need to protect the investment, you know? Kidding... I'll have pics up for sure when I box up the cams to send them off. There are no secrets with me...

Since I'm moving fairly soon, it's like I have a fire lit under my arse This adjustable cam idea is deffinatly something that I could used among many other things in the works to make my 3L hybrid scream Salt Lake is almost void of any good machine shops (I have yet to find one...), thanks for looking further into this for us all!!

I bought a Cougar that has a set of adjustable cam sprockets already. The motor in the Cougar came from David Z, so a set already exists. The cams are not, I repeat not a tube constructed style cam. I am pulling the motor out so I can pull the cams and other components from the motor to see what has been done to the motor. If anyone has any information on the mystery motor that came from David Z, please let me know. Thanks

The heads were from Team Contour's owner Chris Reinke. I can't remember where he had his engine work done though. You've got the only set. Factory cams are a tube, been there, done that...

If you have Jimmy Jennings' Cougar, then the 3.0L block was bored to 3.2, the heads are from a touring car running 'hot cams'. The car will need a chip to raise the rev limiter to around 7500-7750, because the peak power from those cams is around 7250 and the stock rev limiter is at 6750(?).
The car dynoed at 254fwhp @ redline on a restricted exhaust, and runs on the rich side even with the Pro-M MAF tuned down to run 'lean'. That's all I remember about his car from the last time he brought it up and met with us Cougar folks.

I have a new ECU that should help with the tuning. I sold it to Jimmy but he never got it installed. The next step is to install and tune to see what can be done with the current motor in the car.

This is all new to me....DavidZ's old motor is turning into the Paul Bunyan of duratec motors.
