Hey guys... tore apart a set of 3L cams this weekend via an angle grinder and a 3 pound sledge hammer. Not easy work... The easiest way I can see to do it in such a way that you'd want to keep the cams would be to first drill the center of the expand plug out to relieve tension, then press the cam gear off of the cam tube. The end "button" is just sort of along for the ride. Once the center is drilled out, it should just fall off pretty much. I've got three more tries before I'm out of cams. I should have pics up Wednesday morning so that you guys can see what you'll be getting into.
