What year is your SVT?
If it is anything other than a 98 E0 or 98.5 E1, then you have the returnless fuel system.
I don't think the returnless fuel systems were as prone to Throttle Hang as the return systems are.
It could very well be the fuel pump.
Most of our cars are getting up in age and the fuel pumps
are going to get dirty and clogged as the miles add up.
I've got about 90,000 on my fuel pump and I haven't any problems yet.
I had mine changed at 6,000 miles because the fuel gauge stopped working.
I also only have an SE and not an SVT, so our fuel pumps may be different.
Did you ever have the MOOSE problem ?
