Hey, just checking in. I wanted to see if anyone was from around Oak Harbor.
I moved here from Illinois about 7 months ago. I was on the old boards known rainshdw and rainshdw1.
I have owned my SVT longer that most due to the fact that it's the oldest...have had numerous problems and have done numerous mods...I've also done extensive reasearch on it and have the ablilty to answer some questions, mainly stereo. I've had my engine replaced at 50,000 miles, my water pump at 62,000...those were my major problems. I re-do my brake system every year. I am also replacing my clutch for the 3rd time...long story...basically if you replace it, use Ford parts.
I am currently doing ALOT of work on my baby...more to follow.

Welcome to the Northwest rainshdw. I don't live close but I am on the boards all of the time & I try to go to as many meets as I can. I look forward to having another CEG veteran in the NW. Incase you haven't read it yet we are having a meet on the 28th of June(this month). I hope you can make it.

well...I'd like to but i'm not sure my baby will be "up" yet. I'm still a clutch short...and since I am I'm taking to time to re-do ALOT of stuff...and add some new stuff. I know, I know, the summer isn't a good time to do project's but it wasn't my fault the clutch was a POS.
I'm looking to have it running and completed by late July or early August. Hope we can have another meet near that timeframe. I have a car show I am competing in on the 9th of August...not sure about after that...but I'm flexible

That sucks that you can't make it to the June meet, but maybe some of us can make it to the car show you're gonna be in. Anyway, just let us know more info as it gets closer, & good luck on your projects.
