Ok, I just got it closed right when the first rain drops were falling (not joking)!
I did this in the parking lot at work.
This is what I did:
Get a small flat head screwdriver.
You will need to remove the domelight/readinglight assembly.
On the rear edge of the domelight/readlight assembly pry gently one each edge, the entire light fixture will pop out. Unplug it from the wire assembly.
You will see two large phillip screws that holds the roof console cover. Remove them. Slide the console towards the rear of the car to remove it.
You now have clear view of the motor assembly.
I tapped it a couple of times with a wrench then pressed the switch and nothing happened. Then I just wiggeled the entire motor assembly a couple of times and pressed the switch, and the sunroof closed.
I am happy I got it closed for now. When I get home to night I may have another look at it.
