Try this, it has helped me a lot:
Lanch with the steering wheel a little off center (slightly to the left works best for me). I have a quaife, so I dont know how well it works on a normal setup, but for me it seems to help with the weight transfer and the tires spin instead of hop (which is another problem, but hey, you asked for help with wheel hop not tire spin )
