Well, I called Southgate Ford. I was told WCSX and FORD will be taking up most of the space they have.

I guess we will have to find something else. How about it SVTMIKE or downriver CEGer? Get on the horn and make a few calls.

What about Lincoln Mercury across the street, they're a kind of ford. If all else fails, I work at the hungry howies at sibley and fort in Riverview, in the Riverview Commons and that parking lot never fills up, it's right where the cruise ends tho, not very "cruisy.", I don't think we need permission, we can just park there and say we're all going to Big Boys. Also, there's a place I used to work on Fort by Northline, I will go there tomorrow and see what their plans for their lot are, the lot will only hold about 20 cars total, and they plan to stay open that day i know that, so it's doubtful, but I will check it out, I know the owner very well.

A couple years ago I parked in a small lot where some business used to be w/o any problems. I also agree about the downriver cruise, its alot better than the WDC because the traffic moves real well Thanks Motor City for your work, maybe we could just get to a lot EARLY and take it over. Now whos able to do that, I have a 45 minute drive to get there, but could show up at 6:00 a.m. if need be but I better not be the only person there at that time If someone in the area could check things out like closed business', open lots, etc it would be greatly appreciated

I seem to remember a kmart or something, that is usually a good place to sit..

The Kmart parking lot was not filled last year. I dont think we would have any problems parking there, especially if we arrive early. Plus its right in the center of all the action!

SuperK would be awesome, or meijers across the street, but SuperK, is better, right b/n Southgate Ford and Flexivity. I might be able to check it tomorrow, but I leave for the East Coast tomorrow and won't be back till tuesday.

If its Kmart, lets do that. All I need is someone to post where it is exactly and then I'll put a new post for it. Also to those who live in the area, what time can we count on you guys showing up there, you early arrival will be greatly appreciated and the more people who show up early can save a couple spots for those "sleepy heads"

The Kmart is on the East side of Fort St, between Eureka and Sibley. As for showing up early... I'm one of those "sleepy heads".
