yep i would imagine something jet hot coated would deflect the heat pretty good...but i just don't like the idea of metal being used in general is all...i was kinda poking fun back at you a little at first,because i thought your original post was meant to be slightly joking too...
just wanted to let you know that some of us with homemade h/s don't look like crap..some of us actually spend the time to make ours look good as well as being functional...its cool though man....
