Taking it real slow is the way to go. If you want a future with this girl than don't take advantage of her weakness. It isn't fair for her. And at the same time, don't try to act all serious (about a relationship) when you are with her. She needs time to reflect on her past relationship and get over it before she jumps in to the next one. Just my two cents I suppose. Also, make sure she isn't just using you to make her ex-boyfriend jealous.

Not really a relationship but... Setting: 9th grade. Characters: Hot cheerleader in english class and Me At the end of the semester (finals actually), I finally get courage to ask her out. I call her and ask and she is like "Who are you again?" DOH!  Well anyway she is cool and tells me to call her the next day. So I call her and we talk for a bit but then silence. For 15 mins!  After 5 mins I started to read the paper waiting for her to say something. I think I finally said something but talk about knowing they aren't right for you.

crappiest relationship=never having a true relationship (no more than an occasional date), and then that one nite i got way too drunk and I made one girl cry and started a fight with the guy she was with,,, wait a minute, that was sorta fun.... i don't know

Ugh... Too many to list, but I think this would have to take the cake. Try having a virgin fiance(sp?) cheat on you at 19 years old after going out for two years with "none". Yeah, I was stupid and yes I'm smarter now

The girl I was going out with in high school called the police and my parents on me because she thought I had a huge bag of "grass" in my locker. I come out of class to see my parents and 2 cops hanging out by my locker trying to get it open. I go ahead and opened it and showed them what it was: those little pouches they used to give out that had like $500 in shredded mutilated money. Still pretty embarassing situation for me. She never passed by that hallway again without one of my friends (I love those guys) blurting at her a stream of obsceneties and making fun of her.
