I'm thinking of installing a K&N air filter or the like, but reading through other posts / mods sections, i notice most people comment on increased induction noise.
Is there a filter on the market that will be as good (or close) to a K&N, without an increase in noise? (I like the way my engine sounds as it is!)
And another question
: Do you need a surround to protect the filter, or can it just be free in the engine bay? I understand this may compromise it b/c of heat from the engine.
