There aren't any 6 speeds that are interchangeable with the Contour.
You would have to have a custom tranny built if you really want a six speed and money is no object.

Besides, getting rid of your 5 speed and putting in a 6 speed,
only means that you'll be spending more time shifting, and less time applying power to the ground.
This is not the best way to get a quicker take off, and the Duratec is not a Torque monster,
so you will need a lot more than a lower geared tranny to get it moving any faster.
