Can we quantitatively define MAF re-orientation?

Does that mean let the PCM sort it out with a couple of days of driving?

If I did the 3530 I would be using the stock MAF and just wanted to know what I am up against.
What is the added advantage of not having the screen, more air would be my first thought, but it has been proven on more than one occasion that my first though is not always the best?. Any other benefits/negatives?

I have the same questions...I thought you could just reset thee computer (via fuses or battery) and just drive to re-adjust to the new filter and be on your merry way...

I also thought I remember hearing that the stock screen doesn't do much...but maybe I was wrong...I'll go do some SEARCHIN' and see what I can dig up.
