Whats the deal with the DuratecPerformance 70/75mm MAF adapter? I heard that SmellySVT was able to use that just fine on his 3530 set up?
Is it better to get the DP 80/90mm MAF adapter becuase it fits better?
The only thing I can guess is that the 3530 filter possibly fits outside of the flange of the 70/75mm adapter whereas it fits inside the flange on the 80/85mm adapter? Is this the case?
If so, will I see a performance loss with the DP 70/75mm adapter (with the 3530 filter), or just fitment issues? The reason I ask is because DP told me in an email that the 70/75mm adapter with the 3530 filter is the right set up for the SVT.
I just received my DP 70/75mm MAF adapter and my 3530 filter is in the mail, so I'd like to make sure I got the correct adapter.
Also, for anyone interested...DP now sells the 70/75mm adapter with a gasket to fix any possible sealing issues.
