the STi runs less boost so there is a bit of power to be had right there. The 2.5L engine is like the design of the wrx 2.0L but just bigger. A company got 70 whp with intercooler pipe, exhaust, and programmed computer out of a wrx. Also I'd take subura quality over mitsu quality. and then there's the fact that the EVO is soooo ugly.

There is a reason it runs less boost. I am not saying that you will not see gains from modifying the STi, simply that if you want to really modify the cars; everything is already out there for the EVO.
