Not hardly. Terry quoted me $200-250 for the subframe removal, repair and reinstall, and then I'd have to get the durn thing aligned. And I don't trust a $50 alignment, so we're looking at $300+ by the time Terry and a good alignment shop got it all done. Plus HMS is across the state from me, so there's the time off work factor, etc etc.
I mean no disrespect to Terry; I would have gone there months ago if he were a little closer.
Not to mention the service that ATI gave me. When they dropped the subframe, they found that one of my rear brake pads had separated from its backing plate. Since they had most of the assembly apart, they charged me no labor to install new pads. They even went to the Ford dealer to get OE pads for me, at no markup!
Oh, almost forgot to thank some other CEG folks for posting photos of their own repairs... so, thanks, ghodge and bicycle019(?).
