MotorCity: Thinks for the link

Munson: Sorry about stiffing yaâ?? but a very good friend of mine had her apt broken into and a lot of stuff stolen. They did the same thing to the entire floor of her building 13+ apts.. and this is the 4th time that this has happened to the complex in the last year! No one heard or saw anything and no one was home in any of the apts. at the time. Doors were kicked in S.W.A.T like! Sounds like an inside job to me!

It's very odd, they took junk cheap gold rings but left good quality Tiffany silver! And also left a couple hundred dollars cash (her money) lying on the bed. Didnâ??t talk the credit cards but took her health insurance card.

The apt complex that she lives in has 15+ buildings so itâ??s a big company, it gets me pissed the landlord never warned any of the residents that this was going on.. nor did they take any additional security measures. So I have been spending all my time calling all the news reporters in the area and trolling the pawn shops looking for her stuff.

If you live in Philly check out the 12:00 noon news on channel 10, live coverage. If the mgt. will not take matters into there own hands then we will cost them money from bad press.

What makes this even odder is she lives in an OK area, itâ??s not great but also not bad.

Woz, I understand that sometime life gets in the way of these silly little passtimes like the CEG. No hard feelings.

Anyone have any comments on those pics?

This seem a bit selfish but I'm wondering if the cost will be less for other Contour owners now that they are knowledgeable on this modification..,

So how does this mod alter your day to day driving? Inquiring minds want to know..,

I am certainly no expert but it looks pretty damn solid to me.

Contact Richard George at ATI (248 848 9200) and ask. I do not represent ATI and hence have no idea what they would charge in the future.

Uh, the biggest difference it made is that my subframe is no longer broken and the swaybar is properly reattached . The real result is a loss of that persistant understeer that I experienced when the rear swaybar was AWOL. Now I get the nice, balanced cornering attitude that I expect. My day to day driving now includes higher cornering speeds and a smile on my face.

Don't cheap out. If you have a big rear swaybar (and use it), you will need this type of structural reinforcement sooner or later.

You can also speak to Rick Myers-shop manager. He is a great guy to work with. He loves the contour and even worked on the Contour program over at Rousch. Great company to deal with.
