Well, I think i bought some blown speakers from wal-mart (check audio forum) and i need to return/exchange them. I bought them on Friday, the 6th. I have the receipt and all, I may not be able to get them out of the car for awhile since it'll be going into the shop tomorrow to get the fuel pump replaced, I just need to know what kind of policy they have on returns. thanks.

i believe on the speakers you can return them and get new ones, but i don't think they'll give you u'r money back after you install them. i'm pretty sure that's what they said when i asked them when i bought mine.

Warrenty? You may have to go that route.

Don't buy car audio products from Wal-Mart! Buy from a car audio store, Circut City or Best Buy. In my experince, they deal better with problems than Wally World.

I've returned speakers to Wal-Mart before. I told them they ended up not being able to fit in the car. That's all they needed. I got my money back no questions asked.

Hey, I work at a Wallymart.

You can buy something at Target or KMArt and return it at Walmart.

Why?

Because they hire people off the short bus (myself included)
I don't think you have to worry. They were obviously toast, and Walmart managers generally have no backbones so anything goes. While you are at it, get a 27" TV out of the dump and exchange it for a new one

Walmart cares very little about returns..

I used to work Electronics.. some guy bought a Playstation said his was busted.. 2 hours later came back with a playstation saying he couldn't get this one to work either and thinks it's his TV..

I went to the courtesy desk to check the Serial numbers, and they didn't match (big surprise)..

The manager said .. and I quote.. "It's possible someone switched this one before he bought it" I responded "no.. it's not, the box was sealed with Sony's Security Tape" he said.. "oh well.. our word against his, give him a refund"

You can return anything you want to Walmart.

Yeah...worst case scenario is that you could buy the same speaker again and take the old ones back with that receipt.

The person at the return desk probably will have no idea what the item your returning is let alone being able to look at it and make any sort of informed decision on what should be there.

I never had a problem returning or exchanging anything at Wal-Mart, you have nothing to worry about.
