hmm, i COULD get a head package... but would that cause any reliabilty issues that would make me pay more later?

Hmmm. 30-40WHP? Sounds pretty damn good to me. Is that the $2000 that you want as well Hector?

And to you other people I said HEAD as in cylinder head not HEADER!!!!!


My Zetec died one too many times so I got a new car. 1992 Camaro RS 305 TBI with T-5 M/T, high flow cat, custom cat back exhuast. Soon to be home to a LS1 stroked to a 383 with a T-56. Hey Brad, want to race?

I don't see why it would unless it makes you more gas pedal happy, which it probably would.

The price is $1899 after the core charge is refunded. 200 bucks more will get you the Stage 2.5 that includes both cams instead of just the intake cam.

too bad i decided i wanted to make my car look and handle good. i could have had more power than all of you by now.

ok, you wanna know about heads huh?

30-40 hp... right oooook take into account the new oversized valves, and cams + throttle body and intake.

i had a site that ford posted with their numbers from it.

without the head they did 158 hp, and with the head it did 174.

mind you, it had the FR intake manifold, header, cams, throttle body, cam gears and some other thing.

a head was going to be my next project, but i didn't feel like spendin 800 bux on it right away. ill have to find the site.


Mind you, $800 is for the ford cylinder head. and for you all your questions about headers. Headers are easy as hell to install, my shorty especially, went in in about 30 mins. could definately tell, a power increase but not no 15 hp they claimed :/

the 'hardest' thing id say to install was the s/c, but that only took about 5-6 hours, and 10000 trips to autozone for a belt
