yeah, I had the same problem as you.
My boy works at discount auto parts here in FL. So, I took about 2 hours and looked through every catalog to find the right foglights for my SVT. I happen to like the way Lexus IS300's look with the bright amber fogs... so that's what I got. They are 4'' around, and mount right in the stock spot, in the stock bracket, with just very minor dremeling (because the foglight is deeper than stock one). So, the ones I got are 4'', exactly the same dimensions as stock, have clear glass, and an amber background... and have 100 watt H3 bulbs... can you say wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy brighter than the headlights even with 65watt silverstars in the headlights. They have been on the car flawlessly for 3 months now and I love them. PM me if you want more info/prices/etc. I will have pics of them up in a couple weeks.
If you don't like amber light, they also have regular (stock color), and white (like a silverstar).
