Well I went saw the 2F2F movie saturday. If anyone is excpecting a piss poor attempet at an entertaing documnetry on street racing (like Rob Cohne try to make the first one out to be) you will be disapointed. This movie did in the first thirty minutes look like the first. With a huge street racing sequence but that was just to let us know what Mr. Oconor had been doing since he let Dominac go in the first one. From there it progress into a full blown Action Movie. Unbelivable stunts. Unbleivable story, and funny dilagoue here and there.
This version is lighter funnier and all around better IMO than the first. Its a good action movie with cars. Like gone in 60 seconds. Actually to best describe it would be the first 30 mins or so are like the first F&F and the last part kinda of cross between Badboys and Gone in 60. And guess what they did not use the term NAWWWWSSS once in the hole damn movie. As a mater of fact the went to great lenghts it seemed like to avoid techinal jargen all together.
All in all this is a pretty good action flick. If your looking for religous instrucional film or vendication of your hobby well sorry its not that. Its just an Action flick. Probably the best of summer but i heard Bad Boys 2 is supodsed to be out this summer (if it already isnt) and that might be better. But right now IMO 2F2F is the best action of the summer so far. Although summer just started i dont look for it to change.
