How is it moving. Sounds like just end links and bushings. Endlinks are a two-bolt replacement, very easy, you WILL be able to do it yourself. If the sway bar to frame bushings are gone, it's a little more difficult. Search and you will find.....

All front sway bars are the same, and making the front bigger make handling worse on a FWD car anyway.
You can get replacement Polyurethane bushings for the front from SP Motorsports.

The SVT front bar (18mm, IIRC) is smaller than everyone else's (20mm). Installing it would help to reduce understeer.
Combining it with an OEM rear from an SVT or early SE would help even more, without major subframe alterations.

SVT front bar is 19mm All other CDW-27's are 20mm
The smaller front bar promotes less understeer
95-97 SE & all SVT rear bars are 19mm All other CDW-27's are 16mm
The larger rear bar promotes more predictable power off oversteer.

The sway bar (on this car) is not a locating or structural member of the suspension, so I think you'd be OK in the short term.

Sounds like you need a new set of bushings... SPMotorSports sells Energy Suspension front sway bar bushings for like $8.
