Ask the idiot if Ford recommends replacing windshields when they get bug-spattered instead of cleaning them...

TB cleaner shouldn't cause you any problems whatsoever. I've used it on a number of cars ('82 Chevy, '89 SHO, '93 SHO, '99 Contour SVT '00 Vette) with no ill effects at all. Many folks on this Board have cleaned TB's as well as upper and lower intakes and have reported excellent results.
Call em' for yourself: 1-780-454-2000 and ask for a mechanic or the service dept!

Why then is there the warning sticker on the TB telling you NOT to spray cleaner down there?

Stephen

P.S. Did all the other TB's that you cleaned also have the protective coating on them?
