Scott, Fordchips was unable to reset the rev limiter on my SFG-2 ECU after 3 tries. They were able to remove it completely but not reset it to 7500 RPM. For saftey, I had them re-install the stock limiter. They did do a great job with A/F....13.3-5 flat across the rev range and gained an average of 6 HP. Initially a bit too much spark advance on above 6K but that is fixed and now nice and smooth..
They said they would let me know if they figure out the limiter but I'm not holding my breath..

Sorry to hijack the thread - I got a reply that they set my rev limiter to 7000, which is in the spirit of what I asked for. I said raise it "a bit" so I don't hit the limiter as often, and that's what I got. I will run to fuel shutoff with an OBD-II trace "just to be sure". They didn't say anything about speed limiter but it's pretty obvious that when I start bumping at 112 they didn't get it out.
To give them credit the car runs great, so I still pretty much accept that they are the best ford engine tuners money can buy - but it looks like they are just as susceptible to programming issues as superchips, diablo et al when it comes to finding all the misc. settable parameters.

Scott,
From the things I've been seeing I am thinking they are not the best money can buy though they may be good normally. They are still just human and they dont have a lot of specialization on our cars.

One last update - they found the speed limiter and asked me to send the chip back for a reburn.
