I suppose I could do that, but I want something more permanent. I would like to have a gauge that tells me intake temp, plus the differential temp, or better yet intercooler efficiency all the time. There are some digital circuits that can be used to do math on converted signals, but I don't have that kind of knowledge. Time to call Steve, he's the EE! I might have to do something simple like have a digital display that reads a two digit number that represents intercooler efficiency in percent, plus a separate analog gauge that reads the intake temp right before it goes into the throttlebody. That temp is the actual important temp as the engine can make accurate adjustments from it.

For basic testing I think a thermocouple would be less work than a switchable relay system, and if I were going to go to the trouble, I might as well go all the way with the circuit that calculates efficiency.
What do you think?
