Yeah I understand that they will be quite different on/off boost. However, this is what I have done so far and the numbers do have some meaning though they may not truly indicate what will happen at full boost. If this follows newtonian cooling then I can say that when the temp difference is even higher, then it will cool a lot better. At least I can say the intercooler is actually working from just from these simple tests and the two measurments when the car was under boost. Of course I need to get the damn thermocouple mounted and take a ride to determine real efficiency. Initially I won't be able to do any accurate measurements since I don't want to cut a hole in anything else right now until I figure out a good permanent way to measure temp. I'm looking for a good round 52mm gauge that will indicate air temp and I can hook it up to the intake. Anyone recommend a good one?
