Anyone know of any Junkyards with SVTs or remainders of them? I've been looking to get one and splice some parts in, that way i can have some SVTness, without SVT-insurance. Cuz according to AAA SVT insurance would cost exactly: "$rape you up the [censored]$" which at my present financial situation doesn't sound comfy.

actually i have had a se and then traded it in for a svt and there really isn't much difference in price for insurance

alot more to it then that, don't forget cams, PCM, lightened flywheel, brakes, suspension just to name a few more.

a whole lotta money! figure you have to pay for 10 or 10.25:1 pistons, exhuast, bigger inlet cat, svt UIM, svt TB, conical filter, cams, extrude honed primary port heads, hand picked crank, ecu...and thats just the engine.
