I'm looking into a very similar setup as in the above picture. I've got two questions -

1) How much of a difference would there be if I kept the stock accordian versus an aftermarket intake pipe? Is the performance difference worth the cost?

2) What's the deal with the snorkel in the fender? This is the first I've heard of that.
