And I s'pose your Contour is the Carmen Elektra of the automobile world.
So I also assume that all of the less-than-pretty things in the world (in your opinion) should hurry up and die. Dude...that's just low...
BTW, cars don't have emotions so they don't "deserve" anything. But you knew that already.
Youre taking this too far.

The only thing that makes me think twice about the pic is the damage. Althought the body is pretty bad, the paint looks like it didn't even get a scratch. I would think that with that kind of impact, the paint on the damaged area would at least have a scratch or chip on it .
No, most the cars I see like that look like the paint wasn't scratched up. usually when the car hits the phone pole, it stops instantly and the mass of the car causes it to wrap around the pole. (unless the pole breaks off at the base) The part that collided with the pole is now stationary and isn't rubbing, so the paint stays intact except on hard creases where it cracks (this is even moreso on wooden poles) The last case I saw was my brother's friend's Z28, which hit some gravel on the highway while accelerating around a corner (not really excessive speeds, he had just come off a service roads and was accerating up to highway speeds, his tires broke traction and his car was up against the pole before he could do a thing. His paint looked just like that skyline's.
In the case of the skyline, a very strong framed car, only a portion of the car twisted around the pole, the initial point of impact. A weaker car will litterally break in two after the initial impact since the metal can only twist and stretch so far before it has stretched to it's limit, that's when you see cars with the trunk and hood side by side.
