The results are in. I averaged 30mpg highway driving from Calgary-Vancouver return. I was not breaking any land-speed records but probably averaged about 60-70mph and used a/c pretty much all the way. I'm very pleased with this and attribute this mostly to new Michelin X1's.

I've kept records on fuel consumption since I bought my Tour back in January. I was running at 26 mpg hwy 60%/city 40%. A couple months ago because of what I was reading on this site, I used Pennzoil Regane and mid-grade premium after an oil change, and I also had the fuel filter changed. I averaged up my mpg for the past month and it's gone up to 32 mpg! Same percentages on the hwy/city driving. I've loved my car since I bought it, but now I love it even more. Of course, it can't touch the Festiva  which averages 45 mpg.
